My services include assembling a professional interpreting team, advising you on the technical equipment required, contacting conference equipment providers and preparing that equipment for use.

As you can see, I am committed to providing my customers with wide-ranging services, all from a single source… and without too many words!

I do not, however, consider the linguistic aspect of my work in isolation. I also place particular value on the cultural component of international communication. This is an important factor in helping you, your company or organisation to communicate effectively across linguistic and cultural barriers.

Profile

Due to my multicultural background, I have felt at home with different languages and cultures from an early age. I was born in Argentina, so Spanish is my mother tongue, although I also have Italian roots from my grandparents. I have lived in Germany since the age of 15 and – thanks to my bi-lingual education in Argentina – I practically grew up with English.

With this background, a career in languages seemed the natural option. I started by studying German and English language and literature at the University of Heidelberg. During this time I discovered my true calling and decided to become an interpreter. This led me to study as a qualified interpreter for Spanish, German and English at the Institute for Translation and Interpreting at the University of Heidelberg, completing my studies in 1999. During my studies, I also improved my knowledge of Italian with a four-year Italian course in the language laboratory at the University of Heidelberg, developing it as my fourth language. I consolidated and perfected my linguistic competence with many stays in Italy.
